Admission Information


Admission Procedure for Higher Secondary Course
1. Log in to ‘DARPAN’ portal
2. In the website they have to ‘Register’ themselves and then go to ‘Log in’ for filling up the form. (Be careful that only functional mobile number and email is provided)
3. While filling up the online application form the candidates must keep soft copies of the required documents along with photo. The soft copies of the documents have to be uploaded while filling up the online application form.
4. The hard copy of the form generated after filling up the online form must be deposited in the College Office.
5. The merit list will be announced as in the dates mentioned in the notice board.
6. Applications are processed and finalized by the Admission Committee.
7. If any candidate passed the H.S.L.C. or equivalent examination before the current year, he/she must submit a ‘Gap Certificate’ from some competent person at the time of admission.
8. In case of any dispute about any matter concerning admission, the decision of the Principal will be final.
9. Students must submit correct bank account details to avail the benefits of government schemes like scholarships, reimbursement of hostel mess dues, text book grants, etc.

(Soft copies of documnet to be uploaded at the time of Admission)

At the time of Admission the Candidate must produce the original copies of the following documents. They must also submit (Self) Attested copies of these documents along with the hard copy of the application form in the college:
1. Certificate from the Head of the Institution from where he/she passed H.S.L.C or equivalent examination.
2. Mark sheet of H.S.L.C or equivalent examination.
3. Certificate for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/ PH(Physically Challenged) (for students seeking admission under reserved category)
4. Address proof.
5. Migration Certificate. (If the candidate passed H. S. L. C. or equivalent examination from Boards other than SEBA)
6. Proficiency Certificate (If the candidate applies for EC/NCC quota) 7. Income Certificate (for free admission)
8. Applicant Bank Passbook
9. Domicile State Certificate (PRC/Voter ID, NRC/ADHAR card/BPL Card of family/Birth Certificate issued by Registrar of Birth and Death/pass port of Self or parent.)

Admission Procedure For Undergraduate Course ( B.A/ B.Sc 1ST SEMESTER)
1. Log in to SAMARTH portal.
2. In the website they must ‘Register’ themselves and then ‘Log in’ and complete the application and then Submit the form. ( Be careful that only functional mobile number and email is provided ).
3. Students can download the prospectus from the College Website for further information about the college.
4. While filling up the online application form the candidates must keep soft copies of the required documents along with photograph and signature. The soft copies of the documents have to be uploaded while filling up the online application form.
5. The hard copy of the form generated after filling up the online form must be deposited in the College Office.
6. The merit list will be announced as in the dates mentioned in the notice board.
7. Applications are processed and finalized by the Admission Committee. 8. If any candidate passed the H.S. or equivalent examination before the current year, he/she must submit a ‘Gap Certificate’ from some competent person at the time of admission.

10. Students who are applying for the free admission must upload the soft copies of income certificate and a photograph of sapling plantation as per government of assam rules.
11. Students will have to pay requisite admission fee through online payment/ credit card/ debit card only. BHB college promotes cashless transaction.

(Documents to be furnished at the time of Admission)

At the time of Admission the Candidate must produce the original copies of the following documents. They must also submit (Self) Attested copies of these documents along with the hard copy of the application form:
1. Certificate from the Head of the Institution from where he/she passed H.S. examination.

5. Photocopy of BPL card/ income certificate from Circle officer or Mouzadar. (if the candidate applies for free admission) and a photograph showing the plantation of a sapling.
6. Migration Certificate ( If the Candidate has passed H.S.L.C or equivalent examination from Boards other than SEBA)
7. NCC Certificate/ Extra Qualification Certificate from competent authority if the candidate has applied under NCC or EC quota.
