It's a great oppurtinity to convey a heartfelt thoughts to the well being of the college which was established on 1st July , 1971 with a meaningful name B.H.B. College, Sarupeta signifying the name of three mouzas in the greater area , namely Bhawanipur , Hastinapur and Bijni.This is a prime educational institution of greater Sarupeta area, consisting of Assamese speaking, Bodo speaking and Assamese speaking religions minority and some Bengali Hindus.Apart from these , there are also some ex-tea garden tribes living in the area stritching from the ethnic diversity , the college has to save a sustainable amount of socio-economic educational needs to the greater populace. Since its inception the college has been engaged in deriving the maximum output from the heterogenious input of the greater locality. The college was brought under default system in Sept, 1983. Thanks to the teaching and non-teaching staff of this college for their care, dedication and hard works towards the development of this institution. From its inception,the college has been in the limelight and the students brought laurels and honours to the college.
